Who we are
Aria ("we," "us," "our") is an iOS application that delivers daily, AI-personalized manifestation prompts, voice-guided affirmations, and a private journaling experience. You can reach us at kadirsoran5@gmail.com.
Data we collect
When you use Aria, the following information may be collected or processed:
- Device identifier. A random UUID generated on your device. Used to scope your daily prompt cache. It is not linked to your Apple ID, email, or any other personal identifier.
- Name. The first name you provide during onboarding. Stored on your device and sent with prompt- generation requests so prompts can address you personally.
- Goal, blocker, and practice selections. The onboarding answers you give us. Stored on your device and sent with prompt requests for personalization.
- Profile notes. The optional "true about you" / "not true about you" notes and your top-priority affirmation, if you set them. Stored on your device and sent with generation requests for personalization.
- App language. Sent with generation requests so prompts and affirmations are written in your language.
- Journal entries. Anything you write in the Write screen is stored on your device via Apple's SwiftData. We do not upload your journal or read it in the background. When you choose to turn an entry into an affirmation, the text of that entry is sent once to our backend and to OpenAI to generate it, and is not stored on our servers.
- Audio cache. Generated affirmation audio is cached on your device for instant playback. It is also briefly cached on our infrastructure, keyed by a hash of the prompt text, with no link to your identity.
- Usage data. Standard Apple-provided analytics if you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in iOS Settings. We do not run any third-party analytics SDK at launch.
What leaves your device
Aria has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. The only information that ever leaves your device is what is needed to generate your content:
- The journal text you choose to manifest — used once to generate your affirmation, and not stored by us.
- Your first name.
- Your goal, blocker, and practice answers.
- The optional "true about you" / "not true about you" notes.
- Your top affirmation text.
- Your app language.
- A random device identifier (not linked to your Apple ID, email, or any other personal identifier).
Nothing else — no journal archive, no photos, no contacts, no location — is transmitted.
Data we do NOT collect
- Email address, phone number, or password (Aria has no user accounts).
- Contacts, photos, calendars, or files.
- Precise location or health data.
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA). We do not display any third-party ads inside the app.
- Trackers from data brokers or social networks.
Third-party services
- Supabase (EU region) — backend, prompt cache, and audio storage.
- OpenAI (United States) — generates the daily prompt and affirmation text. Your onboarding inputs, your optional profile notes, and the journal text you choose to manifest are included in the prompt sent to OpenAI's API. API content is not used to train their models.
- ElevenLabs (United States) — generates the audio for voice affirmations from text we send. API content is not used to train their models.
- RevenueCat (United States) — manages subscription state and validates receipts.
- Apple — App Store and platform services.
Data retention
- Daily prompts are cached per device, per day, per language, so you see one consistent prompt each day.
- Generated audio is cached keyed by a hash of the affirmation text, with no association to your device or identity, so identical content is not regenerated.
- The journal text you choose to manifest is used once to generate your affirmation and is not stored on our servers.
- We have no accounts, no ads, and no tracking, so there is no profile of you to retain.
Children
Aria is rated 9+ on the App Store but is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone in those age groups. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact kadirsoran5@gmail.com.
Subscription billing
All subscription payments are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase. We do not see or store your payment method. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your rights
- Delete on-device data: uninstall the app. All on-device data, including journal entries and audio cache, is removed.
- Delete server-side cache: email kadirsoran5@gmail.com from a device that has the app installed and we will purge any cache rows associated with your device identifier.
- EU / UK residents have the rights granted by GDPR / UK GDPR.
- California residents have the rights granted by the CCPA. We do not sell or share personal information.
International transfers
Aria processes data in the United States (OpenAI, ElevenLabs, RevenueCat) and the European Union (Supabase). By using Aria you consent to these transfers.
Security
We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS / TLS) for every network request. Data at rest is protected by the underlying provider's encryption.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and surface a notice in the app release notes when material changes are made.
